Great Question! Rick was a part of our upper management in our organization. A tall man, already intimidating, he was the only person to use the podium when addressing us during meetings or training. He would use it to lean on, but really it’s use was for the position of power. If times were serious, he would step around the podium and put a foot on a chair or table giving the audience a face full of moose knuckle. This mesmerizing technique was saved for special occasions. Years after retirement and our facility remodel, the podium stands lonely in the corner. Now we use this iconic piece of furniture to help bring peace and hope to our friends social media pages once a week. ✌️🎸❤️
